Q: What type of doors do you make?

A: We offer a fully bespoke service and can manufacture a range of new doors made using traditional techniques. This includes both hardwood doors for external use and softwood doors for internal use. You can browse our bespoke door designs or request a quote for a custom design. You can also browse examples of our completed projects.

q: Do you sHIP YOUR DOORS WORLDWIDE?

A: Yes! While our doors are designed and manufactured in our Manchester-based workshop, we are happy to deliver worldwide. Shipping costs vary greatly depending on your location, and due to the size and weight of our products it can be costly. Door shipping costs £85 to the UK, with custom quotes being given for outside the country.

Q: Are your doors supplied painted?

A: No, however we can prime our doors ready for painting.

Q: WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR A BESPOKE DOOR?

A: Lead times can vary greatly depending on the time of year you order. Standard lead times are between 4 to 6 weeks, with longer times during the winter season. We try our very best to get your order to you as soon as is possible.

Q: How do I order/get a quote FOR A DOOR?

A: You can order our bespoke doors in a number of set sizes directly through our website, or get a custom size by contacting us. We can discuss your project in detail and supply you with a written quotation. You can also order original reclaimed doors on our website.

Q: How do I measure my door/OPENING?

A: We can purpose make our bespoke doors to fit your opening size, for this you will need to measure the opening correctly. We are able to receive Imperial and Metric measurements. See our guide to measuring below:

  • Exterior width: Check the top, middle and bottom of the outside brickwork. record the smallest measurement.
  • Exterior height: From the bottom to the top of the outside brickwork check the left, middle and right then record the smallest measurement.
  • Interior width: Architraves may need to be removed. Repeat the process and record the smallest measurement.
  • Interior height: repeat the process and record the smallest measurement.
  • Overall frame width: From exterior face to interior face.

Q: How can I pay?

A: If you do not purchase a product directly through our website, you will need to pay a deposit of 50% to secure your order/quote. The following forms of payment are accepted:

  • PayPal
  • Debit/credit card
  • Bank transfer (please contact us for our bank details)

Once your payment has been confirmed we will send you an invoice and confirm the details of your order. Production will then begin.
